The H.M.S. Endeavour was launched in 1765. She was prepared three years later for a voyage under the command of Captain James Cook. During this voyage, Australia was discovered and Tahiti and numerous islands were sighted. She returned to England in 1771, bringing back all kinds of animals and vegetables unknown to England.
All the ships feature plank-on-bulkhead construction, cloth sails, rigging lines, brass fittings and details, and are geared towards the intermediate and advanced ship modeler. These magnificent wooden kits include extensive instructions, including full scale rigging diagrams.
